Every Hewitt boat lift canopy frame is engineered with heavy-duty 3” x 3” aluminum side-rails and support bows spaced every 18 to 24 inches for superior durability. Multiple secure connection points and reinforced corner patches add long-term strength. Canopy covers feature center snaps and webbing straps at tie-down points, each secured through at least three layers of material. This design distributes pressure across a wider area, outperforming traditional grommet systems and ensuring lasting protection on the water.

Standard Vinyl Canopy
Not all vinyl canopy covers are the same. Hewitt’s standard 16 oz nylon-reinforced vinyl canopy cover uses a 9 x 9 weave for outstanding strength, waterproof protection, and UV resistance that prevents fading. Reinforcement is integrated throughout the material to help stop rips before they start. Top seams are heat welded for full waterproofing, and every Hewitt vinyl canopy cover includes a five-year warranty with three years of 100% coverage.
