ALUMINUM DOCK DECKING

Aluminum dock decking panels provide a strong, lightweight, corrosion-resistant surface that handles changing weather and regular use while keeping your dock clean and quiet. These panels are easy to install, remove, and handle, making them a practical choice for new docks or as replacement dock decking panels for Hewitt’s Roll-A-Dock, Sectional, or Classic dock systems. A baked-on powder-coated finish and integrated sound-deadening material create a nonskid surface that stays cooler underfoot and requires minimal maintenance year after year.

Quality

  • Baked-on powder-coated finish resists scratching, peeling, fading, and wear.
  • Lightweight for ease of installation and seasonal handling.
  • Corrosion-resistant for lasting performance in freshwater environments.
  • Integrated sound-deadening material for a quieter dock surface.
  • Made with extruded aluminum for strength without excess weight.

Appearance

  • 3/4” extruded design for strength and stability.
  • Nonskid surface for secure footing, wet or dry.
  • Available in beige or white to match your shoreline and property.

INTERLOCKING ALUMINUM DOCK DECKING PANELS

Interlocking aluminum dock decking panels are designed for custom docks, additions, platforms, and ramps, providing a lightweight, high-strength surface with a baked-on skid-resistant finish. The interlocking design allows fast assembly while preventing water passage between panels, making it ideal for second-level observation decks and patios. This system uses three parts—a starter section with mounting flange, tip-in center sections for adjustable width, and an end section with mounting flange—and can be cut to length and capped with an aluminum channel for a finished appearance.

Quality

  • Well suited for custom docks, dock additions, platforms, and ramps.
  • Interlocking design allows quick assembly and prevents water passage between panels.
  • System includes a starter section with mounting flange, tip-in center sections, and an end section with mounting flange.
  • Panels can be cut to length and capped with aluminum channel for clean edges.

Appearance

  • Made from lightweight, high-strength extruded aluminum with a baked-on skid-resistant finish.
  • Available in white or beige to match your shoreline and dock style.

SKIDGUARD DOCK DECKING

Skidguard dock decking panels feature a waffle-weave textured surface with a heavy-duty phenolic overlay that creates a continuous, no-gap dock surface. Highly resistant to peeling and chipping, Skidguard panels provide excellent traction when wet, making them a reliable, low-maintenance option for your dock. This option is available on 2'-4' and 8' wide docks.

Quality

  • Waffle-weave textured surface designed for slip-resistant footing.
  • Constructed with exterior-grade plywood and a heavy-duty phenolic overlay attached using 100% waterproof glue for durability under severe moisture conditions.
  • Overlay consists of a heavy fiber sheet impregnated with phenolic resin, bonded under heat and pressure to become part of the panel, preventing peeling or chipping.
  • Deeply embossed traction pattern hardened during manufacturing to create a permanent, wear-resistant surface.

Durability

  • Heavy-duty overlay surface holds up under normal residential foot traffic for years.

Appearance

  • Warm-toned panels with a textured surface reduce sun glare compared to smooth surfaces, providing a pleasant outdoor environment.

Weatherability

  • Made to resist weathering without checking or peeling, even under harsh conditions.
  • Gradually darkens to a rich amber color with prolonged sunlight exposure.

CEDAR WOOD DOCK DECKING

Cedar wood dock decking is a traditional favorite, offering solid, durable performance with natural weather resistance. The 5/4” radius smooth planks provide secure footing in wet or dry conditions, making cedar wood an ideal choice for docks exposed to the elements throughout the year.

All-Weather

  • Western Red Cedar is naturally resistant to moisture, decay, and insect damage, making it well suited for sun, rain, heat, and cold all year.

Easy Finishing

  • Cedar wood is virtually pitch and resin free, allowing it to easily accept a range of finishes from oils and stains to solid coatings and paint.
  • When properly finished, cedar dock decking can last for decades, even in harsh conditions.

Dimensional Stability

  • Western Red Cedar offers twice the stability of most commonly available softwoods due to its low density and shrinkage factors.
  • It lies flat, stays straight, and holds fastenings securely for a consistently stable dock surface.

THRU FLOW DOCK DECKING

Thru Flow dock decking features reinforced polypropylene plastic panels designed for easy assembly without maintenance. Strong, durable, and lightweight, these panels create a finished surface for docks while allowing water and debris to fall through, keeping your dock clear and functional. Thru Flow decking can also be used for decks, patios, and other outdoor or indoor flooring structures in conjunction with metal, wood, or aluminum substructures.

Features

  • Maintenance-free design for long-lasting performance.
  • UV and static electricity protection.
  • Superior load-bearing capability.
  • Non-slip surface provides traction even when wet.
  • Strong, durable, and lightweight construction.
  • Allows sunlight, water, and debris to pass through.
  • Stays cool to the touch, even in direct sun.
  • Helps minimize storm surge and wave effects.
