Modular Commercial & Residential Floating Dock Systems
Hewitt modular floating dock systems use galvanized steel or aluminum frames for lasting durability and corrosion resistance. High-quality flotation tanks support a wide range of load requirements, and the sectional layout allows you to tailor each dock to your waterfront. This works well for both commercial and residential floating docks.
Dock sections range from 2 to 8 feet in width and 4 to 32 feet in length. They can be combined to form platforms, extended docks, L and T shapes, or a fully custom floating boat dock. The 2"x4" or 2"x5" continuous sidewall design creates a clean appearance instead of an open truss structure. They can also sit lower to the water than a truss floating dock, which benefits many boat designs. Manufactured in Minnesota, USA, Hewitt floating docks are available through dealers across the United States and Canada. Contact us or your local Hewitt dealer to discuss your plans and explore layout options.

TRADITIONAL FLOATING DOCK FEATURES
Floating Dock Section Construction
Hewitt traditional floating dock sections offer the same advantages found across the full dock line, including easy assembly, minimal maintenance, and room to expand. Aluminum floating docks provide a lightweight option, while galvanized steel models emphasize stability and strength. Each section connects with a full-width floating dock hinge that allows the dock to move with changing water levels while limiting stress on the structure.
Floating Dock Flotation Tanks
Hewitt’s flotation tanks meet U.S. military specifications for reliability. They’re made with EPS foam and enclosed in a polyethylene shell to resist cracking and corrosion, and they can be configured to handle a range of load requirements. Suitable for year-round use, these float tanks ensure your dock remains secure in changing water conditions.
