Migration MVP review

Review the migration

This local trial uses source Hewitt content and catalog data on a fresh Dynamicweb 10 and Swift 2.4 foundation. The review shows what standard components and configuration can support, and identifies the remaining development work.

Suggested walkthrough

Start with the storefront home and navigation. Open migrated content, browse the catalog and inspect a product. Sign in with the supplied synthetic buyer to test the cart and local checkout. Inspect the same content and product in administration to review editability.

Test environment

Use only the supplied synthetic buyer. Product base prices come from the provided database snapshot. This trial does not retrieve live Business Central account prices or use production payment, carrier or tax services. Local test orders do not represent customer transactions.

Development gaps to review

Customer segment and orderability enforcement, primary-variant fallback, live account pricing, custom production BOM and kit behavior, dealer commissions, order editing, shipping exceptions and live integrations require further work. The migration review records the evidence and remaining scope for each requirement.

Acceptance questions

Does standard Swift composition support the intended content and purchasing experience? Which documented gaps are required for launch? Who owns ongoing content, catalog mapping and acceptance?
