QRamp Assembly can be done with common tools and easy connect features, so our ramps can be installed by almost anyone! Our ramps can be configured to fit almost anywhere so it is the perfect solution for both residential and commercial environments. Consumers tell us how easy it was to put together! Each module is boxed individually and with all the hardware required. We even partially pre-assemble it for you to make it as easy as possible!
Fast Midwest Distribution
Most often when someone needs a ramp, the need is very time sensitive and it has to happen fast. QRamp is distributed in the United States by Hewitt Docks, Lifts and Pontoon Legs. Hewitt will provide a no-obligation quote within 24 hours and can have a ramp delivered inside of 1 week. Typical turnaround is 24 hours but not a guaranteed.
QRamp Designer
The easiest way to configure a ramp is to use the QRamp Ramp Builder software available at build.qramp.com or below. Ramp Builder is a fantastic tool that allows you to virtually build your ramp, module by module, to create to your own custom configuration. One of the key features of QRamp is we offer 9 modules that can be arranged in any way – which provide endless configurations to meet your needs now (or even again in the future!)
Each of the modules are numbered in Ramp Builder and that is how we refer to them to keep it simple. Here is a breakdown of each module and what it’s purpose is, along with its size. You will notice on the modules there are red tabs – these are where the next module will connect. The below drawings are only approximates and do not reflect accurate sizing.

Ramp Modules & Connections
ENTRY & EXIT SECTIONS
Mod 4: 2’ x 3’ entry/exit
This is the standard exit component for Qramp. It is designed for situations where a shorter distance is required to start your incline. Note that it is not suitable for ADA-compliant use.
Mod 4v2: 3.5’ x 3’ extended entry/exit
This module is used more often and is ADA compliant. The Mod 4v2 is longer and features two 4 uprights, providing greater durability compared to the standard two uprights.
Mod 6: Transition plate
A transition plate is used to bridge the gap between a standard module and a door threshold or patio. It features no uprights and is made entirely of an aluminum skid plate.
SLOPING SECTIONS
Mod 1: 4’ x 3’ sloping with legs
The Mod 1 is the standard sloping section and the most commonly used component in Qramp designs. Equipped with two uprights, the Mod 1 can be connected to any resting platform or turning platform to start your descent down the ramp.
Mod 7B: 1’ x 3’ sloping with legs
The Mod 7b is the shortest module equipped with uprights. It’s ideal for connecting other modules in compact spaces. Its design, including uprights, provides added strength to the ramp while fitting within a minimal footprint, whether you're placing it close to the house or connecting a bridge section.
BRIDGE SECTIONS
Mod 2: 4’ x 3’ sloping without legs
Mod 2 bridge is designed to connect modules that already contain uprights. The Mod two does not have legs so will need to be used to connect turn platforms, resting areas, or sloping sctions.
Mod 7: 1’ x 3’ sloping without legs
The Mod 1 bridge is intended to connect modules that already have uprights. As it lacks legs, it should be used to link turn platforms, resting areas, or sloping sections. The shorter length allows for a smaller footprint if your area for a ramp is limited.
TURN PLATFORMS
Mod 3: 4’ x 4’ 90º turn platform
The Mod 3 features four uprights and is designed to be level when installed. It facilitates direction changes in your ramp design. By connecting two Mod 3 platforms with a bridge, you can create a switchback. Additionally, this module is useful for situations where a door might swing over the ramp area.
Mod 8: 5’ x 5’ 90º turn platform
Like the Mod 3, the Mod 8 offers the same capabilities but with a larger footprint. When space is not a constraint, the Mod 8 provides a more spacious turning section, giving users greater flexibility.
RESTING PLATFORMS
Mod 9: 4’ x 4’ straight resting platform
Similar to the Mod 3, the Mod 9 provides additional space in areas where a door might swing over the ramp. It also serves as an excellent transition area between sections, helping to ease user fatigue over longer ramp distances.
Mod 10: 5’ x 5’ straight resting platform
Similar to the Mod 9, this module serves the same purpose but features our largest footprint for resting platforms.
